Free Electronic Round-Up
ICI Clients
To provide businesses and institutions a convenient method of recycling their end-of-life electronics, SCRI has worked with property managers and administrators with a focus on environmental sustainability to organize electronic waste drives within their office building. Participating tenants can bring their unused and obsolete computers and other electronic items from office or home to the roundup collection event and SCRI will recycle them safely and securely in an eco-friendly manner.
These events can be conducted during Earth Week – April 22 is Earth Day, or any other week of the year. Our past events have included large institutions with over 150 buildings and smaller locations with only 10 tenants. SCRI can provide cages, gaylord bins, flow through bins, Box-All containers, or sea containers to our ICI and municipal clients for the roundup events. The pickup service will also be scheduled in our usual courteous, timely and considerate manner.
Municipal Clients
Municipalities play an important role in the recycling programs, as they provide convenient locations and easy accessibility to Alberta residents who want to recycle their unused electronics to reduce items going to the landfills.
SCRI has assisted various municipalities with Roundup Events. We can bring our people, our trucks and cages, to help collect unwanted, end-of-life electronic items from the residents who bring their items to the event site. These events may last from one day to two weeks.
